I currently have a bunch of rigs for a project I am working on - unfortunately they are rigged with linear position bones, no problem if I run the script off of the forum topic ( http://www.facefx.com/forums/dont-use-linear-position-controllers-3d-st… )
The only problem I run into is with head gestures - because the ehad bone is biped it gives me an error when attempting to include head in the solve.
How would I best overcome this obstacle without re-rigging the 6 characters ?
What version of FaceFX and what version of 3dsmax are you using?
I'm using 3D Studio Max 2011 64Bit, and the newest Facefx plugin
The newest FaceFX plugins (I assume you're using FaceFX 2010?) do support animating a biped head bone. Can you send us your FaceFX 3dsmax plugin log file when you try to do this?
