Hi dear face fx fourm, i am new to maya and new to face fx .and i have some problem that about rigging in maya with facefx exaple file .slade-maya.ma.when i try to see how joints effects the vertexs,and i try to rotate or move joints .the vertexts moves.and my question is that how to change the vertexs that the joint influrence.is the rig method is smooth bind method .can i change vertexs influrance by paint skin weights?or is it bind in other methond.how can i see what vertexs were binded to the joint (like the eye lip joint)
if i know how the method that the vertext move with joints .so i can copy the slade skin weights and paste to a new model to test in face fx in my new head animations.

This question isn't about FaceFX software, so I think the Autodesk forums are a better place to go for this type of question.
Transferring skin weights from one character to another will rarely yield good results. You will need to do it by hand for each character. You can paint the skin weights, or set them manually from the component editor in Maya. It is a labor intensive process, and best done with a low-res mesh.
