Something that I heard FaceFX Studio was really good at was animated normal maps. My question is, if I have a Maya animated normal map network built and animated, is it possible to recreate that network within FaceFX Studio for use in UDK? I want to use both Maya animation and FaceFX animation, but I don't want the two files to look different. Is there any tutorials on creating animated normal map networks in FaceFX Studio?
Maya is not designed for real-time animation, so you can do some things in Maya that you can't do in FaceFX. But the Face Graph is pretty powerful, and you should be able to create a setup that recreates your Maya network.
As far as doing the animation once, you will need to use the MEL script functions:

We've added some of those in recent versions that aren't available in the UDK, but fxinsertkey is the only one you really need.
