I'm not very familiar with the facefx functionality (sorry in advance)
We're currently using FaceFx studio 2013.3 and I'm making some changes to our batch processing pipeline.
We have some conversations that occur in multiple languages. CharacterA will be speaking English and CharacterB will be speaking French. Our wav files are located in the same folder, text is available for the English dialog.
In our python script we're currently calling
analyze (on the folder) ....
animset -export groupname -to path;
animset -mount path;
publish -go
Because I've got two languages in the same folder, I'll need to call analyze on each wav file passing in the language and whether or not it has text.
I'm not sure how I should go about handling the export, mount and publish.
Any help is appreciated
I've made some progress. Currently I'm running analysis on each wav file (passing the notext paramete when it's in a language I don't have text for) and then exporting, mounting and publishing.
However, my export command is failing.
> Command Failed: animSet -export GROUPNAME -to C:\Program Files (x86)\FaceFX\FaceFX 2013\GROUPNAME.animset;
FaceFX Studio 2015 added .fxanalysis-config files, which lets you specify the language. So consider upgrading. http://facefx.com/documentation/2015.2/W267
Without them, you will need to call the analyze command twice.
As far as the error, it seems that you are trying to save the animset without specifying the full path. As a result it is going into Program Files, and you need administrator rights to write there. I'll bet launching FaceFX as Administrator would fix the issue, but so would making sure you are specifying a full path.
