Hi, support team. I'm having issues in workspace mode. I saw in a basic tutorial that the eye and head movement controller should be able to move the head and eye to all directions. But both eye and head controllers in my file failed to do so. How do I get them to work?
It would be much simpler to use these two controller (one for head, one for eye)instead of using 8 controllers.
Thank you very much for the response. I'll attach an image to help you understand my issue.
Hi Haleyon,
I can tell from the screenshot that the values that the sliders are trying to control do not have corresponding nodes in the Face Graph. Everything in FaceFX is matched up with names (names are case sEnSiTive, so beware). So the sliders need to match up with nodes that have the same name.
If you are creating a new workspace from scratch, this is easy to do...just drag a node from the node selection widget on the left onto the workspace. If you drag another node onto the same slider, you will create a 2D slider.
Do you have nodes that will rotate the head and the eyes? Perhaps it will be easier to create a new workspace than to use a workspace that was designed for a different character.
Thanks for the answer, Doug. You're the best!
You are right about the missing nodes. I didn't have Eye Yaw, Eye Pitch, Head Roll, Head Yaw, and Head Pitch nodes. I have added the nodes in Face Graph, and now FaceFX can automatically create the head movement.
Once again thanks, and have a great day! :)
