I'm starting to use FaceFX studio, and I just figure out that the geometry shape of my pose "Open Mouth" in 3dsmax is perfectly defined and smooth, but in FaceFX Studio have the geometry is not keeping the same shape. It looks that the limit of "bone affect vertex" I'm using in 3dsmax (8) is lower the same in FaceFX Studio.
Is there any way to fix it?
No, sorry. FaceFX Studio uses Ogre for rendering, and there is a 4 bone weights per vertex limit there.
As a follow-up, the exporters take the biggest 4 weights and normalize them.
